    Benazir Kafalat Program

The Benazir Sponsorship Programme, also known as the Unconditional Cash Transfer Programme, was introduced in 2008. The UCT Sponsorship Initiative has expanded since its start to become the biggest financial transfer programme in Pakistani history.

A short-term goal of the programme is to protect the underprivileged from the effects of weak economic development on food by giving them monetary support. According to the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), the Benazir Kafalat project of the BISP now offers cash support to almost 9 lakh families.

    Eligibility Criteria

The National Socio-Economic Registry NSPR survey is used to determine who the beneficiaries of the Benazir Kafalat programme are. The current Office Core was adopted by the BISP Board during its 52nd meeting on December 30, 2019. Despite people from varied backgrounds, the eligibility for an anti-cut score has been set at 37 percent.
