BISP Budget 2023-24

Ms. Shazia Murri while speaking at the ceremony said that this year the budget of Benazir Income Support Program has been increased from 235 billion rupees to 404 billion rupees. This will provide financial support to people living below the poverty line across Pakistan and prevent them from falling victim to poverty.

BISP 8171 New Registration 2023-24

After the increase in the budget of the Benazir Income Support Program, the number of households eligible for the Benazir Income Support Program has been increased from 6.7 million to 9 million. This will enable all families who were previously disqualified for any reason to re-join the program and receive financial assistance from the government to lead a prosperous life.

BISP New Payment

The Chairperson of Benazir Income Support Program Ms. Shazia Marri said that this year the stipend of Benazir sponsorship program has been increased by 25%, by which the total stipend has been increased from 7000 rupees to 8750 rupees. So now eligible women in kafalat program should receive their full amount while receiving their money and don’t forget to get the money receipt after receiving the money.

Benazir Taleemi wazaif

This year, the number of children under the Benazir taleemi wazaif Program has been increased from 2.6 million to 7.85, from which children belonging to poor and privileged families will be able to get financial assistance from the government in the form of Benazir taleemi wazaif. And will be able to continue their education without any hindrance. The objective of Benazir Taleemi wazaif is to provide financial assistance to remove the obstacles in the education of children so that there is no hindrance to education.

BISP 8171 Social Protection Bank Accounts

Benazir Social Protection Account has been started to make the payments of Benazir Income Support Program convenient and transparent. Benazir Income Support Program eligible women will now be able to open their account in any bank. And will be able to get the financial assistance received by the government in their bank account due to which they will not have to face any kind of difficulties in getting the money.

BISP 8171 Mobile Registration

For the first time in the history of Pakistan, Benazir mobile registration vehicle was introduced in the remote areas of Balochistan and Sindh by the Chairperson of BISP Ms. Shazia Marri Sahiba, whose aim is to make these people a part of the program. Those who are unable to come to the BISP office for registration due to living in remote areas, the mobile registration vehicle will now go door to door to complete their registration and they will be included in the program.
