Normal Passport Fee in Pakistan: Every Pakistani citizen has the right to obtain a machine-readable passport for international travel, provided that all necessary requirements are fulfilled. The Directorate General of Immigration & Passports, an affiliated department of the Ministry of Interior, is the authorized body responsible for issuing passports to Pakistani citizens.

How To Apply for New Passport
For first-time passport applicants, the following documents are required:
Applicants aged 18 and above:
- Evidence of payment of the prescribed passport fee, which can be shown through the Original Bank Paid Fee Challan (receipt) or e-Payment Confirmation Detail (SMS/Email) along with the PSID Number.
- Original valid Computerized National Identity Card (CNIC) or National Identity Card for Overseas Pakistanis (NICOP) along with a photocopy.
- Previous Passport in its original form, along with a photocopy (if issued).
- A No Objection Certificate (NOC) from the relevant department in the case of government, semi-government, or autonomous body employees.
- Foreign Passport along with a photocopy (for Dual Nationals only).
- In the case of a Lost passport, provide a Lost passport Police report specifying the previous passport number.
Applicants under 18 years of age:
- Proof of payment of the prescribed passport fee, demonstrated through the Original Bank Paid Fee Challan (receipt) or e-Payment Confirmation Detail (SMS/Email) with the PSID Number.
- Original Child Registration Certificate (CRC) or Form “B,” or Family Registration Certificate (FRC), or Smart Card along with a photocopy.
- Original valid CNICs or Passports of both parents, along with photocopies (Reference: Passport Rules 2021).
- The minor must be accompanied by one of their parents or a legal guardian appointed by the court, along with the original valid CNIC or NICOP of the parent or guardian.
- In the case of separated or divorced parents, custody papers granted by the Court of Law should be provided.
- If the parents of the minor are divorced or separated, and the application for a passport is submitted by one of the parents, explicit permission is required for passport issuance. This permission can be obtained through the other parent’s physical presence or their consent on a duly attested non-judicial stamp paper (Reference: Passport Rules 2021).
- In the case of a legal guardian, a guardianship certificate issued by the court of law is necessary. The appointed guardian must visit the Passport office in person with the minor, along with their original CNIC and a photocopy.
- Foreign Passport along with a photocopy (for Dual Nationals only).
- If either of the parents is deceased, provide their original Death Certificate along with a photocopy.
- In the case of a Lost passport, bring a Lost passport Police report specifying the previous passport number.
